ATTORNEYS Edward J. Sanocki, Jr.   While working his way through New York Law School, Edward J. Sanocki, Jr., born in Detroit, Michigan, was able to develop a practical knowledge of the art of trial advocacy under the guidance of one of the top ten trial lawyers in the country. For the past twenty years, Mr. Sanocki has tried hundreds of cases including medical malpractice, breach of employment contract, automobile accidents, construction accidents, labor law and product liability actions. A graduate of the University of Michigan (1972), University of Tennessee (1974) and New York Law School (1977), he has tried a wide assortment of cases involving diverse issues such as injuries caused by contact exposure to an oral polio vaccine, the failure to diagnose an impending stroke causing quadriplegia and the wrongful death of a passenger on a defectively designed pleasure boat. Recently, he obtained a large verdict in a case of partial blindness after a neurosurgical procedure was performed to remove a brain tumor. Mr. Sanocki has been a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers, and has given a number of lectures for the New York State Trial Lawyers'  "Recent Decision Seminars" and "Jury Selection" seminar.  He has also lectured before the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association on the topics of "Opening Statements" and "Summations."  Most recently, he has lectured before the New York State Bar Association on "Effective Opening Statements." Mr. Sanocki has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York since 1978 and is also admitted to practice law in the federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. In the course of his work as a trial attorney, he has attained successful results in the counties comprising the greater metropolitan area as well as outlying counties, upstate New York and Connecticut.
